Terms of Service
Last updated: June 4, 2026 · Version 1.1
1. Acceptance
By using Vendor Vault you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Vendor Vault is
Vendor Vault is an app for managing collectibles trade fair booths (TCG, sealed, merchandise, generic items). It lets you track product catalog, sales, trade-ins, and cash sessions.
Vendor Vault is NOT a fiscal cash register / payment terminal. It does not issue fiscal receipts, does not calculate VAT, and does not replace the cash register required by law. It is an internal tracking tool for the vendor. Fiscal receipts to the customer must be issued separately with the vendor's physical cash register.
3. Free and Pro tiers
3.1 Free
Free forever. Works offline. All data stays on your device. Limits:
- Single device (no sync)
- Maximum 1 photo per product
- Last 30 days of sales history in the UI (data stays complete in DB, unlocked with Pro)
- No automatic cloud backup
- No advanced analytics
3.2 Pro
Monthly subscription €9.99/month or annual €109.89/year. 7-day free trial. Unlocks:
- Multi-device sync
- Automatic cloud backup
- 5 photos per product + photo cloud sync
- Unlimited history + Event Analytics (Net Profit, top products, peak hours)
- Custom branding
- Multi-user with PIN (cashiers under Owner)
- C2C Sale Declaration PDF (for trade-ins)
- Consignment management (handling third-party items)
- Lead Generation (capture customer contacts)
3.3 Payments
Pro payments on iOS/Android go through Apple In-App Purchase / Google Play Billing. On Web through Stripe. Payment, billing, and refund conditions follow the rules of the chosen platform:
- iOS: Apple Media Services Terms
- Android: Google Play Terms
- Web: handled by Stripe; refund within 14 days from first subscription (EU right of withdrawal)
3.4 Tap-to-Pay (NFC card acquiring)
For in-person card payments via Tap-to-Pay (iPhone/Android NFC), Vendor Vault uses Stripe Connect + Stripe Terminal to process card transactions directly on the merchant's device. By using this feature you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
Vendor Vault charges an application fee of 1% on each successfully captured transaction, in addition to Stripe's standard processing fees. The 1% fee is deducted automatically from the merchant payout; net amount visible in the Stripe Dashboard.
Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are managed by Stripe and follow Stripe Terminal terms. Vendor Vault does not store card details; transaction data is encrypted end-to-end by the Stripe SDK.
Location permission: Tap-to-Pay requires the device location permission because Stripe Terminal mandates it for transaction security and fraud prevention. Location is used only at the moment of an in-person payment and is never used for tracking, profiling, or advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
3.5 Subscription cancellation
You can cancel any time from your Apple ID / Google Play / Stripe settings. Pro features remain active until the end of the period already paid. No pro-rata refunds. After expiration the app reverts to Free mode without losing local data.
3.6 Third-party channel integrations
Vendor Vault offers optional integrations that publish or export your product data to third-party services, each activated only when you explicitly connect them via your own OAuth account:
- eBay: publish listings (title, price, attributes) to the eBay marketplace under your own seller account.
- Google Sheets: export your consignment catalog to a Google Sheet you own.
Use of these integrations is also governed by the respective third party's terms (eBay, Google). Vendor Vault acts only as a conduit and is not responsible for those platforms' availability, fees, or policies. Data sent to these services is covered in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your obligations
By using Vendor Vault you agree to:
- Provide accurate data during registration
- Keep your password confidential
- Not use the app for illegal activities (money laundering, sale of prohibited goods, tax fraud)
- Comply with the tax laws of your country (Vendor Vault does not replace a fiscal cash register)
- Not attempt to bypass Free vs Pro restrictions
- Not engage in reverse engineering, decompiling, or unauthorized redistribution
5. Intellectual property
Vendor Vault is owned by sanvil. Source code, design, and trademark are protected by copyright. The license is "All Rights Reserved" — it is not open source.
Your data (products, sales, photos) remains your property. We do not use it for purposes other than providing you the service.
6. Limitation of liability
Vendor Vault is provided "as is". We do not guarantee:
- 100% uninterrupted operation (maintenance, Supabase downtime, etc.)
- Compatibility with every future version of iOS/Android
- Compliance with specific tax regulations (your responsibility)
Sanvil's maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months. We are not liable for:
- Data loss caused by user errors (e.g. manual deletion, missed backup)
- Indirect damages (lost earnings, sales missed during downtime)
- Tax penalties for improper use (e.g. using the app as a fiscal cash register)
7. Service changes
We may modify features, prices, and Free/Pro plan limits with reasonable notice. For price changes, at least 30 days notice via email (Pro) or in-app notification.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account in case of breach of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app (feature coming soon) or by writing to [email protected].
9. Privacy
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes, jurisdiction lies with the consumer's court (EU user) or sanvil's court (B2B user).
